Used it on the day I received it. It did a great job on a bait casting reel to get evenly wound line on the spool.

So I got tired of looking for someone to help me spool so I bought this bad boy. It's very easy to use and makes spooling fun. I think I offered to spool all my buddies reels when I was done with all of mine.

I love this it so easy to put the line on now before I used a pencil between my toes now I don't have too in the spinny thing for the open face reel is awesome now my line don't get tied up anymore and it cats really straight and even and I get great tension now and before I was always in and out in and out so thank you very much for this product I'm so glad I found it and it's great I will tell all my friends and show them

Worked great right out of the box.

This thing is so easy to use right out of the box. Simple to attach to my rod, simple to spool up my reel, and super fast. Tried with a $40 spinning reel and a $200 baitcast reel, both with no issues. Received item fast with no issues.

Perfect little toy to add to your tackle box. Spools spincast reels perfectly. Bait cast as well. Nice tension on the spool keeps your line tight to the reel, definitely recommend to anyone having line issues

This Line Spooler is an excellent tool when you need to rethread your reel with line. I definitely recommend it as it saves time and the frustration of trying to do it by hand.

Just as advertised. It was actually better built than I expected. I already had the Berkley and I like this one better. I hope this helps someone to make the right decision.

The parts appear to be of excellent quality, the instructions were easy to follow, and the spooler works like a champ. First time assembly took 5 minutes, next time it will be even quicker. I am delighted with this purchase.

This fish line spooler is by far the easiest and best way to spool line on to any kind of reel. It is super easy to setup and use. I love that it is a one person operation. I no longer need to have my wife hold the spool for me! GREAT PRODUCT!

Very easy to set up. Line comes off smooth and easy with light line twist. No more having to use the pencil through the middle of the spool! Highly recommend!

I tried to use this with a standard 2 1/2" wide spool of line and found that is was designed for the larger diameter 1 1/4" thin spools. I inserted a piece of rubber between the Rod and Spooler to give it a bit more clearance and it worked!!! if the arm had been designed about 3/8 of an inch longer it would have worked well on both style spools or if the locking mechanism was on the opposite side of the pivot, it would be "Right". a small design flaw that was probably misinterpreted between drawing and production.

Took some time to get the unit to work properly the first time. Once I mastered the setup the unit worked beautifully.

I think it was worth the money , a little hard to use on thin spools , but I would buy again!

Perhaps this is intended only for bait casting reels. I used it to fill my spinning reel and found you have to set your reel reverse on and reel slowly elsewise you end up with a dreaded bird's nest of tangles. With practice it became easier and I actually do like it. Just take it slow and easy.

This is a neat product for baitcasters the only problem is I bask fish and this will not work on thinner rods. I gave it to a friend of mine a salt water fisherman and he loves it. I bought the one for both bait caster and spinning reels and love that one.
