I comes with a carded instruction insert with photo and written instruction. I searched Youtube for additional knots that can be tied with it. Ordered two, one for my fly rod box and one for my main tackle box for Bass.

Definitely my favorite fishing gadget now. Easy as pie to clip on to a belt loop of my jeans or shorts, and the retracter device is perfect balance of good tension and retacting. Havent used the knot tying gizmo on it yet because my hands are still dextrous enough to get 3wt knots fine, but I imagine it works just fine. Mostly just use the clippers and the retracting leash.

This is my third one of these because I keep dropping them in the water lol. These make tying knots a breeze especially when you are using tiny hooks for trout. You simply hold the hook and twist a bunch of times and make a clinch knot. It cuts up to 10 lb line with ease after that it's better to use this just for tying knots and some bigger pliers for bigger line. I have not used it yet for fly fishing but I will later on. Feels well made too which is of course one of the most important aspects.
